It was a successful weekend for the club, with strong performances both on the roads and indoors following a productive winter of training. At Lee Valley, athletes achieved an impressive medal haul of two gold, four silver and five bronze, with many others reaching semi-finals, finals and top-six field event places. It was also encouraging to see several athletes making debuts or returning after time away from the sport.
Multi-eventor Saoirse Casey-Bond matched her HJ PB of 1.53m, achieving a bronze medal!
The final Essex cross country league race was a true cross country race with it being a complete slip and slide in the mud and rain.
