Membership and New Joiner information
All athletes are required to attend a free taster/trial session before joining. For wheelchair athletes, this will include a full analysis session with Richard to assess each athlete’s individual needs.
After attending the trial, athletes are required to return a completed registration form and hold Individual Athlete annual membership with England Athletics before they are permitted to attend training and compete.
When joining there are two payments required.
ANNUAL REGISTRATION fee depends on the athlete’s age. This fee includes our Club Membership and renews annually every March.
QUARTERLY TRACK fees are collected by Direct Debit and collected on 1st March, 1st June, 1st September and 1st December. We do not offer PAYG.
Athletes can train Tuesdays, Thursdays or both. Wheelchair athletes train on Mondays (Wednesday WCR sessions are by invite only).
We also have weekend Sprinting, Hurdles and Throwing sessions that are invite only.
We ask athletes to commit to at least two of our league competitions (EYAL & SAL) as well as two other competitions during the year.
We also encourage parents to get involved and volunteer/officiate for at least one competition. Tasks may include holding tape measure, raking long jump pit and recording distances.
